PLAYING POWERBALL
How to Play
Every Wednesday and Saturday at 7:59 PM, Powerball numbers are drawn from two sets of numbers. Five white balls are drawn from one set of 59 numbered balls. One red power ball is drawn from a second set of 39 numbered balls.
Pick
your own numbers or say, “I’d like a Powerball Quick Pick ticket.” You
can also pick up a Powerball game slip and fill it out. Give your completed
Powerball game slip to your Lottery retailer, or insert it into a player-operated
terminal along with money to buy your ticket.
Sign your ticket! Be sure to sign the back of your ticket when you buy it to ensure you can claim any prize you may win!
Drawing Break
There is a period of time on drawing days that Powerball tickets cannot be
purchased or validated. That time is every Wednesday and Saturday,
from 6:29-8:15 PM.
Did I Win?

*Some or all of the preset prizes may become pari-mutuel under certain circumstances as defined in the game rules.
# These prizes can be multiplied by adding the Power Play Multiplier option.
Please make your selections carefully. Powerball tickets can’t be canceled.

Power Play
Win up to $1 Million with Power Play Multiplier
For a chance to multiply any cash prize you win from 2 to 5 times (excludes jackpot prize) and win up to $1 million, add an extra $1 per set of Powerball numbers you play. Players who decide to add the Power Play multiplier option and match 5 white balls (Match 5 prize) will win $1 million* in cash, regardless of the Power Play multiplier number that is drawn.
* In extreme circumstance, prize may be pari-mutuel.
How Power Play Multiplier Works
As part of the Powerball drawing, a Power Play multiplier will be randomly drawn (from 2 times to 5 times). If you win a cash prize on Powerball ($3-$200,000) and have added Power Play, your cash prize will be multiplied for that drawing by the Power Play Multiplier number drawn. Your Powerball ticket with the Power Play Multiplier will look like the ticket below.
